Save the date for the 2025 Home Run Derby!!

GET READY FOR THE PTA'S HOME RUN DERBY!
What is the Home Run Derby anyway?
The Home Run Derby is a baseball-themed fundraiser that is free for our Division Street families to attend. The Home Run Derby will be held on Thursday, May 8th from 5pm-7:30pm at the West Side Rec Baseball Fields. There will be concessions for sale, face painting, music, a 50/50 raffle, and of course – the home run competition! The competition will be open for kids from 5pm-7pm. No advance registration is required, you just show up and get a scorecard! Adults and children older than 5th grade can get their shot on the Majors field from 7pm-7:30pm.
Participants will be divided into three categories:
Grades K/1 (tee-ball field)
Grades 2/3 (Minor's field)
Grades 4/5 (Major's field)
Prizes will be awarded to the top place finishers in each category!
How does it work?
Upon arrival, participants will buy a scorecard for $5 each. Each scorecard gives you ten hits off of a tee. Hits are then scored based on where the ball ends up. You can buy and fill as many scorecards as you want, but you can only submit one as your entry for the competition.
What if I want to prepay for my scorecards?
Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Click here to pre-order your scorecards. Just remember to bring cash if you would like to purchase food and/or raffle tickets.
We need you to volunteer!
We cannot run this event without volunteers. Please sign up at this link to help! If we cannot get enough volunteers, we will need to cancel the event. Want another reason to volunteer? All volunteers will receive one free scorecard!
Can I still participate if I don't play baseball or softball?
Absolutely! There will be tons of family fun for everybody!
