DRAGON DASH 2026 - Starts September 18th!
Michelle Jackson: I’m the VP of Market Development for the Insurance division at TransUnion and a proud Division Street parent, with a fourth grader at Division and a Division alum now in 6th grade at Maple Ave. I’m most looking forward to the Dragon Dash and watching our school community come together to support the amazing community events, Arts in Ed, and experiential learning programs it helps fund, and, of course, seeing which teachers get pied! I volunteer with the PTA because I love our school community and see it as a great way to give back and support our children’s education. I’m excited for another great year together!
Megan Mumford Klepetar: As a Division Street School alum myself, I love watching my children experience this school as much as I did. I have a 2nd grader and 5th grader. I joined the PTA Board 5 years ago and spent my first 4 years as an Arts in Education Chair. I love being a part of providing our children with creative and fun experiences that will shape their childhoods. Being on the Board has allowed me to meet parents (and kids!) throughout our whole school community. I really enjoying seeing all of us contribute in so many different ways and how those contributions enhance our children's lives!

Catherine Hanu: I have a Third Grader and Kindergartener at Division Street this school year. Our family was new to the area when my oldest started here in Kindergarten and we went to all of the events where we got to know other families. I was impressed with the dedication that went into fostering school community after experiencing it firsthand, and started to help coordinate events to pay it forward. It's very rewarding for me to see students and families having fun and creating happy memories. I look forward to all of our events but my favorite is the Holiday Gift Market!
Mia Clark: My kids started at Division in the fall of 2022 and after my first year at the school, I found myself on the PTA board as co-President and haven't left. I currently serve as the co-chair for Events and love being on this board, volunteering means a lot to me and I love channeling my energy in anything where my kids are involved. Division St is very special, come to our Events this year, and you'll see why. My favorite event is the Pasta Dinner. I currently have a 5th, 4th and 2nd grader at the school.

Sarah Fritch: I have one fourth grader at Division Street. My passion for volunteering began when I attended my first PTA meeting five years ago. I saw the educational community and how we could support it through PTA funds spent on educational enrichment, and I have been involved ever since! Entering my second year as a Co-Chair of Fundraising feels exciting, as I can focus on fine-tuning what we achieved last year.
Sarah Nolan-Tice: I have one fourth grader and one first grader at Division Street. My passion for the PTA and volunteering comes from my love of learning new things and my hope to give my children and others in our community as many opportunities and unique experiences as possible. This year, I hope to exceed our fundraising goals and continue building support in our school community.

Jean Biesenbach: I’m excited to be returning for my second year as the K–2 Arts in Education Coordinator! As a proud Division Street mom to a 1st, 3rd, and 4th grader, being involved in our school community is especially meaningful to me. In this role, I work with the teachers and staff to help bring fun, creative, and memorable arts experiences to our Kindergarten, First, and Second grade students throughout the year, including visiting artists, performers, hands-on programs, and other special activities. I’m looking forward to another great year of supporting our school and helping bring special, educational, and engaging experiences to the students!
Chelsey Lester: As a parent of a fourth grader at Division Street and a sixth grader who is a former Division Street student, I enjoy staying involved in our school community. I volunteer with the PTA because I believe volunteerism is important, and this role allows me to contribute in a way that fits my schedule as a parent and business law attorney. Also, I believe access to the arts and experiential learning opportunities are critical, and I want to help bring those experiences to our students. I hope the Arts in Education and Educational Enrichment programs your children participate in at Division Street Elementary School make the school day more engaging and spark lively conversations at the dinner table.

Hi! I'm Jill and I'm the one always asking if you've signed up for a PTA membership yet! I currently have three kids at Division Street, so you'll probably see me around a lot. I also have one at the middle school. My favorite Division Street event is the annual Pasta Dinner!
