Fundraising Overview
Fundraising allows us to provide programming and scholarship opportunities through the school that
could not happen without your help! The PTA helps fund Arts in Education programs (theater visits,
musical programs, author visits and more), field trips, high school scholarships, teacher grants, fun
events for students, families, and more.
We have quite a few fundraising opportunities throughout the school year (listed below). More
information about fundraisers and/or changes to events will be announced here on our website, our
PTA Facebook page, and in the Dragon Tales monthly newsletter. We hope you will enjoy some of
these events and thank you for supporting our PTA!
Morning PE: A morning PE program with Coach Armstrong. Held outside (weather permitting) or in the back gym.
Walton's Apparel Fundraiser: Online store open multiple times throughout the year.
Takeout Tuesdays: The second Tuesday of each month, get takeout from our designated local restaurant and a percentage will go to the PTA!
Putnam Pies: Let someone else make the goodies and you can waltz into Thanksgiving with pies, cakes and tea breads. Orders due by November 14th for pickup the week of Thanksgiving.
Silver Graphics Art: Mrs. Spector will guide your child in making some spectacular art pieces that
can be printed on items of your choice for keepsakes or gifts. Orders due by November 15th.
Home Run Derby: Hit some homers and enjoy pizza and ice cream with friends and family at West
Side Rec. Date and more information to come soon!
NY Yankees: The Division Street Elementary School PTA has partnered with the New York Yankees again for another FUNdraising opportunity.
