PTA Sweeney's Bakery Holiday Cookie Sale - Pickup December 21st

PTA Delayed Opening Movie - Volunteers Needed for January 9th
A Two-Hour Delay is coming up on January 9th and we need volunteers in order to run the event. If you are interested in helping out please email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. We cannot run the event without volunteers - your child(ren) will be able to attend free of charge if you volunteer!
PTA Tech Medley for Parents - January 24th
The Tech Medley will be 1/24 from 6:30-7:30pm. This FREE one hour workshop will be led by your PTA President and is aimed at introducing parents to technology tools such as Remind, Sign-Up Genius and the Google GSuite (Google Docs, Google Forms, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, etc). All registrants must have a personal Google account established in order to participate. Space is limited and the sign up will be going out after break!
Division Street School Needs Parent Volunteers for Culture Night
As mentioned at Parent Night, Division Street School is seeking parents, guardians, family members, and community members to be cultural guest speakers in our classrooms throughout the year. The countries/cultures that tie directly in with the curriculum are listed in the sign up below. The speakers will share with the students information on the particular country/culture (i.e. Family life, school life, traditions, holidays, food, clothing, arts and crafts, etc.). If you or someone you know would like to assist, sign up here!
Free English Language Classes at the Library
Saratoga Springs Public Library offers classes in English Language Learning at no cost. Beginning and intermediate level classes focus on developing English language vocabulary, fluency, and reading skills in a group setting. The classes create a fun and friendly learning environment for practicing English. Their literacy volunteer teachers seek to help students feel comfortable and confident in using English in their daily lives within a diverse American culture. Find out more here.

I Ski NY FREE Program for 3rd and 4th graders
Ski or Ride at New York Ski Areas for FREE* with the Learn to Ski Passport program and the Kids Ski Free Passport program from www.iskiny.com. Both programs are valid for any 3rd or 4th grader in the world at participating New York State ski areas. Get out and enjoy winter this year! This is NOT a PTA program - it is a ISKINY Free for Kids NYS Program - we are just letting you know about this as it would benefit many families!

Kindergarten Lunch Helpers for the School

Maple Avenue Parent Network (MAPN)
A new parent group has formed at Maple Avenue Middle School from a grassroots effort to enhance communication between parents and the school! We are so pleased to hear this and will let you know more detailed information as it becomes available to the elementary parent groups.
