PTA Yearbook Ordering Ends Tuesday, April 17th!

Order your yearbook and get your business advertisements in today! The yearbook ordering deadline is Tuesday 4/17 - Tomorrow! Click here for details!

Arts in Ed - Bluebirds of NY - Wednesday April 18th (2nd grade)

The 2nd grade will take a bus ride to the 4-H Center to participate in a program about New York's state bird, the Eastern Bluebird.  They will learn all about the bluebird's habitat, and nesting and will hopefully get to spot some of these beautiful birds. The classes will work in small groups to build their very own bluebird boxes.

PTA Chess Club - April 19th

Chess club is open to all Division Street students Grades K-5, beginner-advanced players. 8:10 AM – 9:10am on Thursday 4/19 in the Gym. No advance sign-up is required. Parents, please walk your child to the Gym and sign in.

PTA Preschool Story-Time - April 19th

Bring the kiddos for Preschool Story-Time! Come for an hour of fun and circle time at 10:00 am on Thursday 4/19.

Arts in Ed - Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother - Thursday April 19th (Kindergarten)

Kit’s Interactive Theatre will put on a one woman theater show that will bring a popular Fairy Tale to life. The kids will feel like they are part of the story too by playing small roles in this Fairy Tale come-to-life.  This program will fit in with the kindergarten studies of kings and queens. Interactive and fun!

Arts in Ed - Pioneer Life: On the Oregon Trail - Thursday April 19th (2nd grade)

Kit’s Interactive Theatre  will bring her one-woman show to 2nd grade while she reenacts scenes from life on the Oregon Trail.  The kids will get immersed into the life of covered wagons, buffalo stampedes, snakebites and more.

Arts in Ed - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to help finish the Diversity at Division Street Mural - Thursday April 19th

As you will recall, each student created individual tiles with artist Anne Francey in March.  These tiles will be arranged and assembled into a school-wide mural. We are looking for 6 parents to help us glue the pieces of the mural together on Thursday April 19th from 9:15 until noon.  If you can lend a hand, please contact artsined@divisionstreetschoolpta.com for more details.

The PTA  Needs Data for our Final National PTA School of Excellence Survey

Please click here to take the 2-3 minute survey. Any school community member can take the survey. This survey will close April 20th.

You should have received an email from the Saratoga Springs City School District asking for feedback on the new Elementary Report Cards. Click here to see the proposed new report cards and take the survey (the link is on that same page) to give your feedback as parents. This survey also closes April 20th and is a great opportunity for parental engagement at the district level. The data from this survey will directly impact all families with children at the elementary level.
